HotBodies Cyclone Counter-Steer setup Version 2

Front Set-up:

Tc5 front 40t diff gear #ASC 31169
Tamiya 15t center #50878

Rear Set-up:
YOKOMO 33T DIFF PULLEY #ZR-543-33
Hpi r 40 pulley set # 73477


Set-up starting point
Parts used:

Front set-up --- 40t diff pulley (tc5 parts) and 15t center pulley (tamiya or hpi)
Rear set-up --- 33t diff pulley ( yokomo parts) and 23t center pulley (hpi r40 parts)


Update: Cyclone belt count

Cyclone and Cyclone-S 169T front 62T rear
Cyclone TC 170T front 63T rear

33/23 with 62T belt fits perfect.

Set-up starting point

Front diff a little loose
Rear diff locked

Springs use same rate springs

Front weights 2 oz
Rear weights 2 oz if you are using lipo's

-3 Front camber ---- may vary from tires and track surface
-1 Rear camber ---- may vary from tires and track surface

4mm Kickup

0 Front toe block
3 Rear toe block

Motor 8.5 ss sport
18t Pinion
78t Spur


Center pulley's 15t for the front (Im using tamiya parts you can also get an hpi parts)
and 23t for the rear (hpi r40 parts set)



How to mount the R40 pulley to cyclone center shaft.
You just need washer or some sort of tube to fit in between the shaft and pulley

Front view without the bumper you need at least 4mm spacers (kick-up) and -3 front camber and -1 camber for the rear
